WATERMAN
Since 1883 Waterman has been a major presence in the world of fine writing. Lewis Edson Waterman developed the ink feed system for fountain pens that is still in use today, obtaining a patent for it the following year. In the early twentieth century, Waterman was one of the largest manufacturers of writing instruments in the world.
In 1926, a French subsidiary opened in Paris. Eventually, Waterman Paris became home to the brand, where operations continue today. This move was undoubtedly successful, as Waterman has become synonymous with French elegance in the prestige pen market.
The use of precious metals such as gold and rhodium, and high quality lacquers gives Waterman pens a distinctive aesthetic. Waterman pens make a fine choice for the discerning pen lover.
