City Stationery Self Education Policy
City Stationery recognizes that the encouragement and development of relevant skills and knowledge amongst employees is essential to our success.
To be eligible to apply you must:
- Be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand Passport holder resident in Australia for more than six months
- Not have completed any retail related qualifications that are a Certificate II or higher
- Not have any other Certificate III or IV qualification gained within the last seven years

1.2 External – suppliers product training
We provide in house training on Selling, Computer, POS, Banking, and Cash register procedures.
The training sessions can be in the formal format or as hands on whilst working at the job.
We are committed in nurturing and developing our staff, giving them skills and knowledge for their career. We Endeavour to create a job that will cover a wide variety and a broad spectrum of tasks. All aspects of retail stationery are covered.
All our staff is trained in all areas of retail operations. We can do various tasks such as product enquiries, stock replenishment, cash registers, housekeeping, copy shop, comb binding documents, specialty pens, wedding stationery, invitations, rubber stamps, opening and closing stores, security, customer special orders, printing labels for shelves, answering phones, handling complaints, receiving and marking off stock and a whole lot more!
2. Social gatherings - we have at least 2 company funded dinners per year
All employees enjoy a staff discount (after 3 months probation period) on our fine quality stationery
No weekend work. Our Trading Days are Monday to Friday
